[ Project #1-"Bush Did 9/11" ] [ Project #2-"Breast Obsessed" ]

Project #1 - "Bush Did 9/11"

This project will serve as a commentary on social mistrust of government figures and agencies and how popular folklore/culture (either real or imagined) affect current political opinions among the general public.

In order to help with this project you will need either: (A) A digital camera and access to an e-mail account. Or: (B) A film camera and scanner and access to an E-mail account.

What I need for you to do is simply take a photograph(s) (as many as you like) of the phrase: "Bush did 9/11" (written exactly like that, but without the quotations.) and e-mail it to: bushdid911@OttawaArts.Com

Your photograph can be any size and at any resolution (DPI) and must be in one of the following formats, in order of preference: .png, .jpg, .tiff, .bmp, .gif

You should try to be as creative as possible with your photo and the placement of the "Bush did 9/11" phrase. The more unusual the photo and/or placement of the slogan, the more likely it is to be accepted for the project.

When sending your photo please include whether or not you would like for me to publish your name, or keep it confidential. Also, please understand that by sending your photo to the e-mail address listed above (bushdid911@OttawaArts.Com) you are granting me non-exclusive, world-wide, lifetime rights to copy and publish the photo you submit, in any medium or format which I choose, whenever and wherever I choose.You also understand that I reserve the right to digitally alter any image that you submit, in any way which I see fit, if, at my sole discretion, the need arises. Also, please understand that I can not promise that your photo will be one of the ones selected for the project.

IMPORTANT: You must own all rights to any image you send!

All photos I receive will be edited together in a digital collage and made into a gigantic poster, which will then be distributed in a unique fashion.

Project #2 - Breast Obsessed!

This project is the same sort of idea as the project above, however, this project will stand as commentary on the use of titillation induced by images of the exposed female anatomy in the role of advertising and marketing.

Here is what you will need to do: Again, e-mail me your digital photos. Send the photos for this project to: breastobsessed@OttawaArts.Com

Each photo must contain two things:

(A) An image of exposed female breasts. Fully exposed (nude) breasts are preferred, but not essential. The image can be simply a cleavage shot, or largely exposed breasts in a brazier.

(B) The URL of this web site, written: "Http://DerekAudette.OttawaArts.Com" (without quotes) Or: just simply: "DerekAudette.OttawaArts.Com" (without quote) Or, my name, written: "Derek R. Audette", or "Derek Audette" (without the quotes), or both.

Optionally, at your discretion, an image may include any of the following:

(C) Any other written message you wish to include. (Try to keep in mind the message of the project: "A commentary on the use of titillation induced by images of the female anatomy in the role of advertising and marketing."

(D) One or both of the following slogans visable anywhere in the image:

1) - "Art happens, baby!"
2) - "THIS IS ART!"
